First time I saw this movie I thought its for children only, but I continue because the tone color is funny, mixing between bright and soft. I don't understand the story because I watching in the last minute, after a week I find the schedule on HBO and bent on watching from the beginning.

The story is about the Boy Scouts who go camping in the summer on a little island. In the early scene, we could see the regular activity of Boy Scouts, in breakfast time they counted and missed one person, Sam Shakusky. He is an ordinary boy who has a little clash with the team, for the first they arent care about the missing.


On that island lived a little family (maybe medium) of Suzy, a young rebellious girl of the same age as the Boy Scouts. She had 3 little brothers who liked listening to her read the book. There was a Captain Sharp who kept the island and lived in the Mercosur at the pier. Also, there was a Pastor who lived at the church. The rest was never explained.


FYI, in the near island, there was Ivan Hoe Camp, a camp for selected Boy Scouts, the best Boy Scouts. Both camps are rivals.

Suzy is missing on the same day as Sam, and both are promising for meeting in one hiding place. actually, Sam joined Boy Scout camping the last summer, so they already knew each other a.k.a had the same feelings a.k.a planning to escape together. When their friend and family search everywhere, they’re busy keeping in touch (you know what I mean) hehe
The funniest scene of this movie (mine) is the scene of dancing, Sam and Suzy are dancing without clothes haha ... their dance is so ludicrous, made me amazed that children could do adult people's things hehe

The secret place is on the lagoon on the other side of the island, they even built a tent and slept together, without clothes. 

In the morning they wake up by the ambush of Scout Boys, there is no against them. The Scouts Master brings them into the camp.


Sam asked help from his team for marrying Suzy, and they agreed for delivering both to the little church in Ivan Hoe Camp. The real adventure begins (for them) they must avoid the patrol of the camp and skulk. Then, something bad happen, the rivers overflowed and made a flood. All of them evacuate into the church (the real church on that island).

That is bad for Sam and Suzy, they’re got married and want to live together. So they’re climbing the church tower to avoid the police and Scout's Master. They didn't want to go down before getting the agreement. And both did. Sam lives on the island with Captain Sharp at the pier, every day he visits Suzy at her house.
