So far, baik gouache Sakura maupun gouache Collen sama-sama memiliki keunggulan dan kelemahan. Mengenai kualitas gambar yang dihasilkan, itu tergantung dengan skill masing-masing (^.^)  tools hanyalah media.

Practices makes perfect!

I tried to designing a package of medicine box, just in case someday I need to design that :p hehe I starting by designing a Polyjuice box. Polyjuice? Have you heard about it before? Then, if you are a Harry Potter fans or at least ever watch the movie in TV, you should be know what it is Polyjuice.

So. Why I decided to designing Polyjuice box rather than anything else?

It’s simple, because a couple days ago I watched The Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them, Newt Scamander’s suitcase remind me about Mad Eye Moody suitcase, he is trapped inside suitcase because his enemy need his body part to made a Polyjuice.

In Harry Potter world Polyjuice was known a potion that would change someone appearance into whatever they like, peoples just need to adding someone body part such as hair, nail or blood to Polyjuice.

I’m using green as a main color of icon because green identically with potion and monster, why monster? Because sometimes there is an accident caused by Polyjuice, peoples whom adding the wrong body part to Polyjuice would ended up in hospital for malfunction case. Also, the Polyjuice itself is has a green color.

The eye of icon represent the first impression of people whom seeing their first appearance after drink Polyjuice. Like peeking in the key hole, curious and carefully.

I also added 4 main character of The Fantastic Beast and Where To Find Them as a face reference.

Ketika Newton Artemis Fido Scamander atau yang lebih dikenal dengan Newt Scamander datang ke New York, tanpa sengaja koper yang dibawanya tertukar dengan Jacob Kowalski, seorang no-mag (no magic atau muggle’s, yaitu orang-yang tidak memiliki kemampuan sihir sedikitpun).

Saat itu pemerintah New York sedang berupaya untuk mengungkap insiden misterius yang meresahkan masyarakat, Kementrian Sihir pun ikut menyelidiki insiden tersebut, terlebih lagi karena Grindelwed (penyihir hitam yang keji) yang telah kabur dari Azkaban belum ditemukan. Di sisi lain ada Perkumpulan Salem (semacam LSM) yang gencar berorasi dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan awareness masyarakat New York akan bahaya sihir.

Perkumpulan Salem dipimpin oleh seorang nyonya tua yang mengadopsi anak-anak yatim piatu yang dipekerjakan untuk membagikan selebaran anti sihir. Diantaranya adalah Credence seorangan anak laki-laki berusia belasan tahun yang agak pendiam dan Modesty seorang anak perempuan followernya Ny. Salem.

Sudah bisa diduga, ketika Kowalski membuka koper Scamander, hewan-hewan yang berada di dalamnya ikut berhamburan. Dibantu Porpentina Goldstein (his wife soon to be, eh spoiler :p) seorang mantan auror yang ditemuinya ketika mengejar Niffler, Scamander mencari Kowalski untuk mendapatkan kembali kopernya.

Porpentina membawa Scamander dan Kowalski ke rumahnya, dan ... Kowalski yang memang seorang pembuat roti terpesona kepada Queenie Goldstein yang juga gemar memasak. Scamander kemudian mengajak Kowalski untuk masuk ke dalam kopernya (Mad Eye Moody suitcase, remember?) untuk menunjukkan apa yang sebenarnya ia lakukan.

So awesome!!! Isi kopernya lebih keren daripada New York dan segala isinya, if you know what I mean hehe The most interesting part is the partition, sekat yang membatasi setiap geografi dan hewan-hewan yang tinggal di dalamnya tampak nyata, ya iyalah ... It’s magic, anything can happen.

Setelah melihat isi koper Scamander, Kowalski setuju untuk mencari hewan-hewan yang kabur. Di saat yang bersamaan, Henry Shaw seorang calon pemimpin New York dibunuh oleh sihir misterius.

Porpentina lantas membawa Scamander dan Kowalski ke Kementrian Sihir untuk diadili, namun nyatanya Mr. Graves malah menghukum mereka karena menemukan obscurus (parasit yang menempel pada penyihir muda) yang diduga sebagai sumber insiden di dalam koper Scamander.

Queenie yang mengetahui hal tersebut kemudian membebaskan mereka dan membantu menemukan sisa hewan yang kabur. Wait ... it’s not the end. Sihir misterius yang meneror New York kembali muncul dan memporak porandakan hampir seluruh kota. So? What are you waiting for?

Dengan pengembangan cerita yang luar biasa seru hehe tentu saja Pottermore berharap David Yates selaku sutradara akan mengadaptasi buku J.K. Rowling lainnya. Well ... harus diakui, Fantastic Beasts and Where You Find Them adalah spin off yang keren (melebihi film aslinya :9) seperti The Hobbits triology yang merupakan spin off dari The Lords of The Rings triology.

Pertanyaannya adalah : buku J.K. Rowling mana lagi yang akan diadaptasi ke layar lebar?

Bagi yang belum pernah membaca atau menonton Harry Potter tidak perlu khawatir, alur cerita Fantastic Beasts and Where You Find Them ini mudah dimengerti dan bisa diikuti oleh muggle’s hehe

FYI. Fantastic Beasts and Where You Find Them is the 1st movie me and mom watched after her sickness, the first time (again) she went to the mall and cinema. Actually she pick ‘Ibu, Maafkanlah Daku’ but she lost after we (me and her coworkers) pick Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them. Sorry mom, I can’t deny J.K. Rowling’s tempations, she put a spells on me J

This is not a bedtime story that your mum tell before you sleeping in the night nor a bore story that your teacher tell before you falling asleep in the class. It’s not a fake story that you tell  to impressing your crush nor a funny story that you tell to cheering up your friend.

It’s just a story ... about somebody life whom you never known before ... a little secret that rarely you hear before.

You can leave.

You can stay.

And you can be both.

But you can’t controlling your mind to not curious about what the story it is.

Seriously.

Because if you don’t curious about it, why do you (still) keep reading and scrolling down your mouse?

Actually, I don’t know from where I should start this story. Too many confusion and doubtful that distracted me a hundred times, also a denial that haunted me for a years. But no matter how I turned or how I run, I realized, it is mine.

I’m ‘special’.

OK. I’m different.

So ... you accept ‘different’ easier than ‘special’ right? BTW, thank you for not imagine a martabak when seeing ‘special’ word.

I’m different. I knew. I always knew.

Everybody’s is different in their way, so I am. But I’m ‘different’. I mean that ...

I don’t remember the day I was born to the world because my ears and eyes still not working yet, but I remember the days after, the early day of my life.

When I got the pain of ear piercing, when I got hospitalized in my first year, when I want to say ‘hug me’ but the only voice I made is crying, when I got puke on the first time riding angkot, when I went to minimarket for buying toddler toys, when my mother taught me about the colors name and so on. I still remember those seem it was yesterday.

Isn’t it crazy? I remember the things that should be forgotten. FYI, I also can describing how the details, if you want to ... know.

I had a good memory, really ... really good on it even isn’t like a photographic memory. But the worst part is I always remember almost everything, especially a promise that peoples made for me, Sometimes, I’m very amazed about their innocence, how could they forgot their promise while I’m still into it?’

Maybe they forgot, or ... want to forget. I don’t know, I can’t see the different of both.

There are so many kind of people I met, many kind of people touched my life, many kind of people stay around me but there only a few whom settled (with me). Only a few.

Most of peoples saw me as a vanity friend picker, the super chin up person whom love to living in small friend cycle. Yes. It’s true, I admitted.

Why? Because I can ‘see’ them.

I can ‘see’ people just by looking at them at the first sight, like scanning. But, I’m not scan their style like a fashion police nor a bullyer in high school, I scan their self. I know it’s too complicated to understand what I’m really looking for because I can’t describe how I did that exactly.

I always scanning people, especially a new person, I know if they are good or bad by looking into their heart? Soul? Self? Or whatever you name it. I’m looking into theirs to find what kind of person s/he is.

Somebody who really kind, somebody who fake their kindness, somebody who had an undercover mission, somebody who really care, somebody who always think they are right, somebody who try to digging up your secret, somebody who love to impress, somebody who never care, somebody who waiting you falling down patiently, somebody who think they are loving you enough and so on.

I’ve seen them. Sometimes I enjoyed their lies as they want to and never blame myself for throwing another lies to makes perfect.

I can analyze everything especially about human behaviour, i’d love to know the reason behind act. Yes I love watching Lie To Me, but I did that habits for a long time ago.

I always keep my eyes on every little things peoples do, how was they act, how was they talk, how was their expression, how was they treat peoples, how was their (hand) writing, how was their manner, how was their fashion sense, how was their background and so on.

My friend told me I took the wrong major, I should be took psychology or any major that related to human behaviour than Industrial Design. At this time I’m totally agree.

At the first I was think that ‘see’ peoples came from my analyze habit, but then I realize it’s more than just an analyze. It’s developed into a prediction. It’s out of mind right?

Suddenly I became an director, I can predict any possibilities in my mind like a movie scene. I would think it’s only a effect of my fun habit if those alive only in my mind, but the truth is ... it become real.

I don’t know what happened to me, but I can’t stop my brain. It worked and overloaded until I couldn’t see the different of expectation and reality.

There is some point that normal peoples doesn’t understand, I can see a correlation between life and world, seems I knew everything. Maybe only Tim Kring who understand me so well. He is the creator of Touch, a serial television that describing what is going on in my mind almost exactly, go watch Touch if you want to know.

Kuliah di Desain Produk Kampus Oranye rasanya lebih capek daripada waktu di boarding school dulu, padahal ya kalau dipikir-pikir kuliah tidaklah seberat masa sekolahku. Di boarding school aku harus bangun sekitar  pukul 03:30 demi menghindari antrian kamar mandi dan baru tertidur sekitar pukul 23:00 malam di setiap harinya, sedangkan ketika kuliah jadwal masuk paling pagi adalah pukul 08.00 pagi dari hari Senin sampai Jum’at.

Yang memberatkan adalah tugasnya, terkadang aku harus begadang tiap malam untuk menyelesaikan tugas yang nyaris gak ada habisnya. Kostan Cuma jadi tempat transit untuk tidur dan menyimpan barang-barang karena aku lebih banyak menghabiskan waktu di kampus mengerjakan tugas secara berjama’ah, jangan tanya kapan dan kemana aku pada saat weekend, kalau nggak di kampus ya di kostan ... ngerjain tugas.

Tahun pertama aku lewati dengan susah payah dan berdarah-darah, walking dead gitu deh ... kaya zombie, baju seadanya, muka kusut, kurang makan dan lingkaran hitam di mata. Tapi ya ... demi tugas mah apa sih yang nggak.

Tahun kedua masih sama, eh lebih parah malah. Project design yang kukerjakan agak ribet, mengharuskanku untuk bergaul dengan limbah rumah tangga yang baunya menyebar sampai satu gedung jurusan.

Baru di tahun ketiga aku bisa agak santai, at least aku tidak lagi mengambil baju yang pertama kali kulihat di lemari ketika bersiap-siap pergi kuliah. Aku juga bisa menonton marathon drama Korea sambil sesekali posting di Multiply dan main Farmville di Facebook.

Nah, saat itu kuliah kita mulai ada yang tidak berjalan sebagaimana tertera di KRS (Kartu Rencana Studi) sehingga ada perbedaan kelas, dari yang biasanya selalu bersama-sama menjadi sendiri-sendiri. Kadang bertemu sebentar diantara jeda mata kuliah atau ketika nogkrong geje di depan gedung.

Meski demikian kita selalu berkomunikasi via sms dan chat via YM (Yahoo Messenger) atau Ebuddy, jirr ... lawas banget kan haha Nanya-nanya info kuliah terbaru atau gossip terpanas di kampus, agak ribet juga sih sebenernya karena yang nanyain bisa sampe beberapa orang, tahu sendiri kan mahasiswa fakir pulsa.

Pada suatu hari saat kuliah mandiri, Rizma dan Oshi mengajakku ngobrol, katanya mereka punya secret projet.

Secret project tentang apa?

Tentang membuat sebuah blog rahasia (anonymous blog) untuk berbagi informasi atau gosip terbaru di kampus. Karena ternyata menjawab sms cukup menyita waktu dan pulsa jika dilakukan untuk beberapa orang sekaligus haha

Aku adalah anggota ke 3 yang direkrut Rizma setelah Oshi dan dirinya sendiri. Kami berbagi tugas untuk posting gosip dan situasi terkini di kampus Oranye secara live, tergantung situasi juga sih, kalau memang mau curhat juga bisa #eh

Saat itu aku belum berkenalan dengan serial Gossip Girl, eh, tapi gak tahu deh kalau Rizma. Jadi mengecek dan posting di blog tersebut adalah hiburan yang mengasyikkan.

Awalnya blog tersebut hanya untuk konsumsi geng cewek semata, tapi lambat laun banyak juga yang tahu. Ketika satu orang memberitahu 2 orang lainnya, masing-masing dari ke 2 orang tersebut pasti akan memberitahu 2 orang lainnya, begitu selanjutnya sampai menggurita seperti piramida MLM (Multi Level Marketing).

Dari situ kita agak gimana gitu ... intinya agak gak enak sama yang diomongin hehe apalagi kita kenal hampir semua orang di Jurusan Desain Produk Kampus Oranye. Ye kan ... meskipun sebenarnya gosip tersebut adalah fakta yang belum terungkap J

Ya sudahlah ... demi kemaslahatan ummat akhirnya blog tersebut berhenti beroperasi. Untungnya Kampus Orange sedang gencar memblokir site atau website yang memiliki konten pornografi semacam Tumblr, ya mau gak mau akhirnya tetep berhenti juga kan hehe
